N3C Domain Team: Imaging

Mission

Mission

The clinical research objectives of this group are to explore (1) knowledge that can be gained about the relationship between radiological imaging features and COVID-19 clinical course, clinical manifestations, comorbidities, (2) the ability of radiological images combined with other clinical and demographic variables to predict disease course, severity, sequelae, and long-term disease impact, and (3) the ability of combined radiology imaging information and clinical and demographic variables to predict disease course, organ system involvement, severity, and development of chronic post-COVID-19 syndromes. The infrastructure development objectives of this group are to develop software infrastructure to link outside sources of images and imaging features to the N3C Data Enclave, as well as to be an early adopter of the hashing method for linking TCIA imaging data to N3C data.
